Chivalry 2 recently hosted a beta, and while many players were no doubt focused on the swordplay and combat, it was also the first time that they got the chance to hear what the game’s music would sound like. Spears talks a lot about how the game’s sound design influenced his composition, and the result is something truly beautiful and unique.

At the interview’s conclusion, Spears had this to say when asked if there was anything he’d like to share with Game Rant’s readers. First and foremost, players that are interested in Chivalry 2 should certainly consider buying it, but he also goes on to say that fans should stay tuned for news on the soundtrack. As this was towards the end of the interview, Spears didn’t elaborate more on what exactly he meant by that, but it seems like players will be getting some good news soon. Following Spears on Twitter is a good way to hear about that as soon as it happens.
The soaring melodies of the Chivalry 2 soundtrack will no doubt be a thrill to listen to, but in game players may be somewhat limited in this regard. As explained above, the music in the game is tied to the map that players are playing on, and from then on it seems to be mostly randomly selected or triggered by certain events. Players that want to listen to Chivalry 2’s music uninterrupted will want to purchase the soundtrack. With any luck, more information will become available on that soon.
Chivalry 2 releases on June 8th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
